BatchGeo

Part I - Document sharing with Google Docs.  The class was instructed to check their email to see if you required a document sharing invitation.  If so, "excel_example.xls" will appear.  My professor create a shared document on excel spreadsheet for name, address, city, state, zipcode, and email address.  I entered accordingly.

Part II - I create a map with batchgeo.  This activity was fun.  It's great for keyboarding, history or science classes.

Listed are the steps:
  • Copied and paste the excel spreadsheet from part I into BatchGeo
  • Click on Map It.  Once the map appeared I click on the save button.
  • Titled map - Class Map
  • Made it public
  • Entered y Gmail address
  • Save map
Although this was a fun activity, I got repeated error messages. Therefore, I had to use Jing for my image.
